Helping people change involves skills in developing and maintaining a good therapeutic alliance with clients. This presentation will highlight how to build a therapeutic alliance using the assessment dimensions of The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Criteria.  It will explain how to use a flexible seamless continuum of care to apply motivational enhancement strategies to attract and keep people in recovery.
